Since established in 2009, Ruma now operating with 12 branches and cooperate with more than 4000 Ruma Entrepreneurs that serve more than a million customers. Some international awards have become proof of Ruma’s commitment to success along with all Ruma Entrepreneurs. In order to be able to cooperate with more Entrepreneurs, Ruma is targeting to have a total of 25 branches by the end of 2013. . All of these targets are made to support Ruma mission to increase the quality of the low-income community life through technology.

Currently, there are more than 150 people who working together to develop Ruma. This dynamic team consists of people who have worked for some big organizations such as: The Boston Consulting Group, CNOOC, ILO, Kiva, Indonesia Mengajar, Mayora, Ernst & Young, BRI, and many others. Now, through the Manager Development Program, Ruma is inviting talented young people to play significant role as Area Manager to develop this social enterprise even further.
Before taking role as Area Manager, all the participants will do on-the-job training at various level, start from Dealer Manager, Deputy Branch Head,and Branch Head, in order to make the participants get a deep understanding about the business process at any level. All this process will take at least 15 months in total.
Area Manager will supervise five branches to cooperate with more than 3.000 Ruma Entrepreneurs who feeds about 12.000 people in their role as householder. This number will grow bigger along with the development carried out by the Area Manager. In addition, the Area Manager will also lead more than 50 people including 5 branch heads.
